Groups
Small groups meet at volunteer homes in the Hendersonville area on the first three Sundays of the month to study God’s word in a friendly and non-threatening environment – the home. The focus on growth speaks to our primary task of sharing the greatest gift of all, God’s saving message with others. The chief purpose of the groups is outreach but they are also a source of spiritual growth. On occasion the groups visit nursing and retirement homes to sing songs, play games with and just visit patients and retirees. Weekly class material is provided based on Dan Williams“Growing Together Verse by Verse.” Prior to study time fellowship and a meal is shared from food brought by the participants. For those who choose, services are also held at the church building on Sunday evenings.
