Testimonies of Our Youth

What is your story?  In what ways has God moved in your life to bring you closer to Him?  Do you remember the many circumstances in your life that have tested your faith and yet at the same time strengthened it? As you look through the Bible you notice that it is an amazing compilation of testimonies of how God moves in people’s lives. It is filled with story after story how God uses any means possible to draw human beings to Him. These stories are a source of strength and encouragement for us all. I feel we sometimes forget the power of testimony. We often do not share them enough with each other. God uses His Word, prayer, the Church, and life experiences to reveal himself to us in many ways. He uses all of these to draw us to a deeper relationship with Him. Just a few weeks ago in our Growth Groups we looked at the testimony of Andrew in John 1:40-42 and how he ran to tell his brother Simon that he had found the Messiah. The word about Christ would not have spread for many centuries had people not been willing to share it with others. We must continue to share with others the hope we have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Tonight you will want to be a part of our evening service.  Our young men will be leading us in song and prayer.  Grant Rivers, Ethan Hardin, and Allen Bice will share with us recent circumstances of God working in and through their lives.  They will give us a glimpse into the lives of our teens and the ways God is moving in their schools, homes, and community.  I am so blessed to work with these young people who challenge me and strengthen my faith.
