How Can a Person Get to Know God?

Genesis 3:8-9 8Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the LORD God called to the man, "Where are you?" It is obv ious that Adam and Eve had a different opportunity than we do at this point to get to kn ow God. They walked and talked with Him in the Garden. Unfortunately , sin entered the world and messed every thing up. In order to have a relationship with God today , we talk to Him through prayer and listen through His Word. Have you ever known someone who could quote the Bible book, chapter, and verse and yet their life did not reflect a true relationship with God? These are just a few things that might come up in your Growth Groups tonight as we develop a deeper relationship with our Father in Heaven.
