Family Retreat at PBC — May 9-10

In this busy country that we live in today it is often very hard to have Family Time.  Moms and Dads are running children to and from school, sporting events, play practice, and many other extracurricular activities that it often seems to never end.  Families need a time to just get away and relax.  Enjoy being together without all the craziness of life.  That is what our family retreat is all about.

 
This retreat is designed for our families with children in high school and on down through newborns.  Steve and Donna Meeks will be coming to speak to our families on a number of different parenting issues.  Stephen and Donna have five children (4 boys and 1 girl) ranging from 6 to 23.  They spent 10 years in Kenya and are now spreading the Gospel in the rural areas of Appalachia.  There will be time for relaxation and recreation.  We will also have a small service project for each family to do to aid PBC in preparation for this summer.  I hope all will be able to attend.  Please sign up in the lobby if you are able to attend.
