Busy…Busy…Busy

   Just how full is your plate? Sometimes I can just see that old Satan is laughing at us. You know he is at work and is a deceiver, Revelation 20:3, 10. He’s probably saying, “If I can get them to be a little busier, I will get them off focus.”
   What focus? Loving God with all your heart, soul, and mind and loving your neighbor as yourself, Matt. 22:37-39. Our Great Commission may never be realized if Satan is successful while we are distracted working those extra hours, rushing here and there, making sure the kids’ homework is done, ballgames, texting my boyfriend, and playing video games — Halo 3.
   What did Jesus do when the world started crowding in? He got in a boat and moved to a quiet place, prayed, and communed with his Father. God tells us to “Be still,” Psalm 46:10.
   Do you have a quiet place of rest? I encourage you to find one!
